Dr. Trang Eng, MD

Arcadia, CA · Coming Soon

Hi, I'm Dr. Trang Eng. I'm excited to build a new way to experience healthcare

After more than a decade practicing medicine within the insurance system, I'm starting a Direct Primary Care practice built around a simple philosophy: healthcare should feel like a trusted partnership, not a transaction.

Why I'm doing this

Medicine, the way it was meant to feel.

For over ten years, I practiced primary care medicine inside the traditional insurance system — and watched the visits get shorter every year while access got more difficult. Seven minutes isn't enough time to actually listen to someone, catch what's changed, or just be present with a patient.

Direct Primary Care allows me to change that dynamic entirely. A much smaller number of patients, longer visits, and a direct line to me when something doesn't feel right — without an insurance company or medical group standing between us.

To my current patients, thank you for trusting me with your care over the past decade. It has been a privilege to walk alongside you, and I'm genuinely excited for this next chapter. If you've been looking for healthcare that feels personal again, I'd be honored to continue this journey together.

The model

What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based model where you pay a flat monthly fee directly to your doctor — no insurance billing for office visits. That simple change removes the frustration, paperwork, and red tape that shape most primary care, and replaces them with more time, more access, and a direct relationship with your physician.

DPC isn’t insurance, and it isn’t meant to replace it. Most members pair it with a lower-cost, high-deductible health plan for hospitalizations, specialists, and emergencies — and use their DPC membership for everything else: same-day sick visits, chronic disease management, preventive care, and easy access to me when something comes up.
